  • 1996

    Cary Glotzer forms Tupelo Honey, a full-service production company named in honor of his wife and her hometown, Tupelo, MS.

  • 1997

    Partners with Major League Soccer, packaging the Gala Awards, commercials and promos.

  • 2000

    Glotzer co-produces the 4-hour ABC pregame show for Super Bowl XXXIV in Atlanta.

  • 2002

    Produces the very first show to air on the YES Network.

  • 2002

    Stephen Wallen joins Tupelo Honey as Vice President of Production and Partner.

  • 2003

    Produces the first televised MLS SuperDraft, kicking off a 17-year run.

  • 2004

    Begins five-year run producing more than 200 original digital pieces for AT&T’s Blue Room, a joint venture between CBS Radio and AT&T, featuring the world’s most popular music artists in all genres.

  • 2005

    Co-Creates Time Out NY on Demand channel for Time Warner Cable.

  • 2005

    Under the supervision of Ken Neal, Tupelo begins packaging MLS games. Team clients include FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake, Houston Dynamo, and Chicago Fire with over 2500 games to date.

  • 2007

    Glotzer, Wallen and Paul Goldberg acquired by Sports Capital Partners (owned by David Checketts, Michael McCarthy, Ken Munoz and Chris Bevilaqua).

  • 2009

    Forms joint venture with Michal Yudin’s MY Entertainment, MY Tupelo, spawning successful series and specials on numerous networks including Discovery, CMT and Travel Channel; including Ghost Adventures, which remains in production.

  • 2012

    Raycom Media, led by Paul McTear and Pat LaPlatney, acquires Tupelo Honey.

  • 2012

    Becomes the exclusive production company for newly formed mixed martial arts organization World Series of Fighting (now known as Professional Fighters League).

  • 2015

    Acquires WebStream Sports, from founder John Servizzi. WebStream provides remote broadcast and in-venue production for clients including Turner Sports, ESPN, NCAA, CBS Sports Network, Horizon League, Big South, Ohio Valley and Missouri Valley Conferences, Butler University, and Indy Fuel. Servizzi and veteran sports media executive Greg Weitekamp continue to lead the company and staff of 26 is fully retained.

  • 2015

    Led by Jennifer Oliver (née Greechan), packages Premier Boxing Champions live primetime shows on NBC, CBS, Spike, Fox and Showtime.

  • 2015

    WebStream begins annual production of Bahamas Bowl for ESPN.

  • 2016

    Merges with WebStream Sports; Servizzi and Weitekamp assume day-to-day leadership of nearly 50 full-time staff.

  • 2016

    Branded entertainment spot for ESPN & Ford titled “Away from the Desk” airs during college football season.  The spot is a Finalist for a 2016 Cynopsis Model D Award.

  • 2016

    Produces multiple branded entertainment spots for ESPN & Budweiser for Olympic and Paralympic athletes.  One spot was a Finalist for a 2016 Model D Award.

  • 2016

    Begins production of live, streaming concerts and music festivals for Live Nation.

  • 2016

    Partners with YouTube to deliver live election-night coverage, a first for the streaming giant.

  • 2017

    Produces spots for ESPN & Samsung called “Tracy McGrady’s Journey” which aired during the NBA Finals on ABC.  The campaign earns recognition as a 2018 Webby Honoree.

  • 2017

    Tupelo and Raycom Media executive Sandy Breland win an Emmy for “Louisiana Rising” live special hosted by Harry Connick Jr. to raise funds for Louisiana flood victims. The special is produced by Mike Burks and Scott Kono.

  • 2018

    Produces “Big Man on Campus” a docureality show for ESPN & AT&T to promote the 2018 CFP National Championship Game.

  • 2018

    Invests in Swirl Films, a leading urban production company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

  • 2018

    Becomes the exclusive production company for the newly rebranded mixed martial arts organization, Professional Fighters League (formerly World Series of Fighting).

  • 2018

    Co-creates and packages “Holiday Homecoming with Jewel” airs Dec 25th on CBS Network.

  • 2019

    Parent company, Raycom Media, is acquired by Gray Television.

  • 2019

    Launches two new, nationally-syndicated series: “Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren” and “The Song: Recorded Live at TGL Farms.”

  • 2019

    Produces scripted, co-branded commercial for ESPN & Warner Brothers promoting the movie, “Shazaam!” with Zachary Levi.

  • 2019

    Major League Rugby (MLR) selects Tupelo to package its national broadcasts.

  • 2019

    Packages 11 NFL preseason games for the Giants, Chargers, Falcons and Saints.

  • 2019

    Premiere Lacrosse League (PLL) selects Tupelo to package its contests for NBC Sports.

  • 2020

    As the Coronavirus virtually shuts down the sports production world, Tupelo delivers more than 100 hours to ESPN platforms with American Cornhole League and The Basketball Tournament (TBT) from its Indianapolis facility.

  • 2020

    Works with Premiere Lacrosse League and NBC Sports to deliver successful production of PLL Championship Series – 20 games in 14 days – from Salt Lake City “bubble.”
